FACES, FULL OF HOPE- a new hope



Inmates of Urdaneta District Jail expresses their joy and happiness in their "NEW FOUND HOPE" thru the ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION, a JOINT PROGRAM OF BJMP URDANETA DISTRICT JAIL AND THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, wherein they can now finish their BASIC LITERACY (for those who have not yet set foot in a school), ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL even during their detention. MEANING, they have now the chance to keep up with the "world" when they receive their Diploma and "reintegrated in the mainstream of the society" as a rehabilitated individual.

After the 22 April 2008 affair- the Launching of the jOINT bjmp-dEPeD Program: ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM for Inmates of Urdaneta District Jail, SR SUPT EMMANUEL T SICIO, RBJMP1 Regional Director, congratulates CINSP CLARENCE E MAYANGAO and the personnel of UDJ for a job well done. And further encourage UDJ to continue on its program for the betterment of its inmates.

UDJ WARDEN MEETS FOREIGN EVANGELISTS





Last April 3, 2008, Foreign Evangelists- JIM KILLION, FLORENTINO VARGAS & JOHN WASBALL with PASTORS Jesse Abalos, aBRAHAM rICANOR and others from the Urdaneta Ministers' Fellowship visited Urdaneta District Jail and donated some medicines for the inmates and some christian music cassettes tapes.
