PHASE 2 OF BEAUTIFICATION PROGRAM

Initial start for the Phase 2 of the Beautification Program dubbed as "MAGANDANG KAPALIGIRAN PARA SA MAPAYAPANG KAISIPAN" of UDJ step up through a donation of ENGR. ROSENDO SO, a well known Businessman of this City. The whole amountof money donated by the good-hearted person was immediately used to purchased one and a half pale of paint to initially paint the interior of the jail building where the inmates stays.
HOPE TO SEE MORE PERSONS HAVING A HEART IN HELPING THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED.

MEDICAL & DENTAL MISSION '07

MEDICAL & DENTAL MISSION '07 is a Joint project of the BJMP and the Local Government of Urdaneta City thru the unending support of HON. MAYOR AMADEO R. PEREZ JR and MR. RONALD Z. SAN JUAN, the City Administrator, to Urdaneta District Jail. The City Health Office through DR. BERNARDO MACARAEG- City Health Officer; Dr. Sojih Navalta; Dra. Ivee Alapat & Staff with DR. TEODORO B. PALAGUD, JR, RHU Officer & member of the Philippine Dental Assn; THE DAUGHTERS OF MARY IMMACULATE (DMI) led by SIS. MA AURORA MANANGAN and the Rotary Club of Metro Pangasinan Millenium sponsors said mission which gives FREE DENTAL SERVICES (extraction of teeth) and MEDICAL CONSULTATION with FREE MEDICINES & VITAMINS among more or least 150 inmates. SR INSP RUTH ADUAN OF RBJMP 1 HEALTH SERVICES & staff also joins said mission. The City Administrator personally visited the Jail to witness said project and see more possible assistance of the LGU to BJMP. MABUHAY PO KAYO AT SALAMAT

URDANETA DISTRICT JAIL'S NEW LOOK

Through the help of the Rotary Club of Urdaneta with its president MR. JC COLOMA AND Vice Mayor of Urdaneta MADAM CHARRIZZMA CHU CARANCHO and the rotarians, the UDJ now has a new look. Last February 2007 the Newly cemented and Lanscaped-front portion of the jail was Blessed with the rotarians and INSP PAUL BALAG-EY who represents SR SUPT GLORIA SABENIANO NOCEDO, REGIONAL DIRECTOR of RBJMP1 as guests.This is part of the Beautification program dubbed as “MAAYOS AT MAGANDANG KAPALIGIRAN PARA SA MAPAYAPANG KAISIPAN” and marked Phase 1.

MORNING EXERCISE

Inmates of Urdaneta District Jail were given time in the morning for Sunning and short exercises. This is to maintain their good health or at least prevent the possible spread Of any disease inside the jail brought by the summer season.

STEEL BENCHES FOR UDJ

A donor who refused to be named donated an amount to MAKE SEVERAL STEEL BENCHES to be used during functions and visiting days here in UDJ. These steel benches was really a big help even in entertaining visitors both of inmates and the institution.

BJMP CHAPLAIN VISITS UDJ

J/CINSP ANTONIO GERENTE of the BJMP NHQ Chaplain Services visited UDJ last March 16, 2007 and officiated a Mass with a very inspiring Sermon delivered among our inmates.
