FOOD 4 D SOUL & BODY





The Asingan Ministerial Fellowship led by Ptr. Jaime Casio with some other Pastors and christian workers from the said Religious Organization , after "feeding" the inmates of Urdaneta District Jail with "spiritual food"- THE WORD OF GOD, also feeds them with nutritious merienda thru their Feeding Program dubbed as "KAPWA KO, PANANAGUTAN KO".

RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY..UDJ's UNDER FLOOD AGAIN



Rainy season is here again and the perenial problem of this institution - FLOOD- comes with the said event. But, Hopefully this problem will soon come to an end, after the HOnorable City Mayor of Urdaneta City- MAYOR AMADEO R PEREZ, JR, pledges to solve the problem by funding a construction of a canal that will be connected to the main waterways of barangay Anonas.

CLASSES STARTS




All three (3) levels of the ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION - the Basic Literacy; the Elementary and the Secondary level- starts last 29 April 2008 immediately after the launching of the program. 1st batch of learners: 68 inmates were now on their way to a much brighter future. "BE OUR GUESTS"


Urdaneta District Jail's DAD- Chief Inspector Clarence E Mayangao, District Jail Warden, welcomes guests 's and visitors from Department of Education and Local Officials of Urdaneta City during the launching of the JOINT PROGRAM OF DEPED & BJMP last 22 April 2008.. THE ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION FOR INMATES OF UDJ, a free education during their detention.

MERIENDA TIME


Mdm Aurora Romano of ALS DEPED with Ms. Maricel (an inmate/learner), distributes merienda to the inmates after their have rendered a wonderful DANCE NUMBER during the Launching of ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM last 22 April 2008 which was featured in an ABS CBN Regional Network Morning and afternoon News Program- the GANDANG UMAGA KAPAMILYA and the TV PATROL NORTHERN LUZON anchored by Mr.Cris Zuñiga.

"SALO SALO PARA SA IKABUBUTI NG PRESO"



BJMP, DEPED AND MEDIA made an act of "Blood Compact" thru a simple salo-salo for the best interest of the inmates. This three (3) components will form a maJor part in the success of the ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM wherein 80 inmates of Urdaneta District Jail will be benefited and can finish their studies (Basic Literacy, Elementary & Seconday) during their detention and for FREE.

URDANETA DISTRICT JAIL HITS THE NEWS

The program especially the Synchronized Dancing of the Inmates of UDJ was featured in Gandang Umaga Kapamilya and on the 5:30 o'clock NEWS of the ABS-CBN Northern Luzon.

FACES, FULL OF HOPE- a new hope



Inmates of Urdaneta District Jail expresses their joy and happiness in their "NEW FOUND HOPE" thru the ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION, a JOINT PROGRAM OF BJMP URDANETA DISTRICT JAIL AND THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, wherein they can now finish their BASIC LITERACY (for those who have not yet set foot in a school), ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL even during their detention. MEANING, they have now the chance to keep up with the "world" when they receive their Diploma and "reintegrated in the mainstream of the society" as a rehabilitated individual.

After the 22 April 2008 affair- the Launching of the jOINT bjmp-dEPeD Program: ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM for Inmates of Urdaneta District Jail, SR SUPT EMMANUEL T SICIO, RBJMP1 Regional Director, congratulates CINSP CLARENCE E MAYANGAO and the personnel of UDJ for a job well done. And further encourage UDJ to continue on its program for the betterment of its inmates.
